Devoxal ("we") provides a voice orchestration layer for AI coding tools. This page summarizes how we handle information when you use our Mac app, mobile app, website, and related services at devoxal.com.
In short
- Screen captures / IDE images stay on your Mac — not uploaded for storage, sale, or model training.
- Bring-your-own API keys stay local (Mac settings / keychain).
- We never sell your voice, code, or session data.
- We don't train models on your prompts, narration, or screenshots.
What we collect
Account details (email, name), authentication sessions (via Supabase), optional voice calibration profiles, product usage needed to enforce trial and entitlements, billing/subscription status, and support emails you send us. The website may use Google Analytics to understand traffic.
Screen captures & images
Devoxal may capture regions of your screen so it can read IDE chat and drive your coding agent. Those images are processed on your Mac for orchestration. We do not upload raw screenshots to Devoxal cloud storage for training, advertising, or resale. Optional cloud sync on paid plans stores session story data you enable for continuity and mobile remote — not a pipeline of IDE screenshots for model training.
API keys
Bring-your-own OpenAI keys stay under your control in the desktop app settings / OS keychain. We do not sell your keys, and they are not shared across team seats. Hosted credit routing on paid plans is used only to provide the service you subscribed to.
No sale · no training on your sessions
We do not sell or rent your personal data, voice audio, code, or session content. We do not use your Devoxal sessions to train foundation models. Opt-in product improvement programs, if offered later, will be separate and clearly disclosed.
Payments
Paid plans are processed by our billing providers: Creem (creem.io) for cards, and NOWPayments for crypto. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. The processor receives the billing details needed to charge you and prevent fraud. See also our Refund policy.
Sessions & cloud sync
Local session history stays on your Mac by default. Cloud sync (paid plans) stores session story data needed for continuity and mobile remote. You can manage sync from the dashboard when available.
Account deletion
You can request deletion of your Devoxal account and associated cloud data at any time. See Delete your account for the process, what we delete, and what may be retained for legal or security reasons.
